(Ok, I know you're on Windows...) There is no save button, it saves automatically every few seconds and have an amazingly long undo list. Also, it handle all the versions on a per-chapter basis. So you write a chapter and simply click "new version" button and it takes a snapshot of the chapter and saves it, then let you work on the next version. You can go back to older versions at will.
